Summer

I apologize for neglecting my blog this last month. Until We Meet Again the second in my Sweetbriar Series has been my main focus lately.

We've enjoyed two of our grandsons in the 4th of July parade and a visit from out of state relatives already this summer. A family picnic is in the planning stage; coordinating schedules and location is a little tricky.

What are your plans for the Summer?

A Lovely Day

We started our day watching our oldest grandson play baseball. I love watching this age group. They are not super serious about the game yet so playing in the dirt or dancing in the out field is all part of the game.
Our daughter and her husband helped us do some heavy duty yard work today. It's great to sit back and see how great that section of yard looks.

I'm working on Until We Meet Again the second in the Sweetbriar Series.

Beautiful Day

It's a lovely sunny day here. I need to do some needed yard work before I can work on my story Until We Met Again. Unfortunately my Work-in Progress is going slower than I like.

Don't put things off until tomorrow

I've always enjoyed the look of this old building. It used to be the tannery in town. For the last couple of years I've said I wanted to take pictures of the building. A couple of weeks ago I finally remembered my camera and snapped a dozen pictures of this old character. Yesterday I was sad to see they are starting to take down the old buildings. I'm glad I had my camera when I did.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! Being a mom is a twenty four hour a day job with little recognition. Take some time day and do something for yourself.
