Three Little Things

This has been a rough year for our family. Through the stress and tears there have been times it's hard to find things to give thanks for. During times of stress I write down three things I'm thankful for that day.
The other day I had an unexpected trip to the coast for work. The seashore has always been my 'go to place' for calm and relaxation. Although I wasn't able to walk on the beach I found peace and remembered to give thanks for the small things. My three things were the peace and sense of tranquility I found on the country drive to the coast, a seagull flying overhead making a squawking sound and the fishy, salty smell of the ocean. I know a lot of people don't like the fishy smell but to me it means relaxation.
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?
